KingPing - Network Monitoring Made Easy

KingPing is a Mac App that will periodically ping any network device that is accessible from your Mac.

Think of it as your Mac sending a tap on the shoulder to see if the device on the other end is indeed alive and has a pulse - pretty handy right?

These days, network devices (hosts) can be almost anything. Use KingPing to monitor Websites, servers, other Macs, PCs, tablets and smart phones - you can even monitor your Internet Service Provider!

These network devices are represented by little coloured circles that loop around until its their time to be pinged.

Simply add network devices you wish to monitor and KingPing will work tirelessly on ensuring those devices are monitored for that heartbeat.

The KingPing app lives in your Macs Menu Bar - easy to access but also out of the way when theres nothing to report.


ALERTS

Tired of painstakingly troubleshooting devices on your network only to finally realise that someone or something "accidentally" unplugged the network cable?

KingPings alerting system will help you avoid these mishaps for good. You will receive a message via Notification Center or Email every time a host fails to reply to a ping. You can also set up summary emails, which are triggered to send after a set period of time, to help minimise on redundant alert emails.

STATISTICS

KingPing provides a gorgeous statistics view to see what has failed to reply to a ping and when. Successful pings record latency, so you can see how quickly hosts have replied to those ping requests.
